Apple Computer has been actively conducting business in Japan for many years. In the past 18 months, Apple focused on two very specific real estate projects and Sanko Estate assisted on both of these very important initiatives.
- To secure a great real estate site for the first Apple Retail Store outside the United States.
- To evaluate our existing Apple Japan Headquarters facility in Tokyo to renew or possibly relocate based upon current market trends and financial incentives.

Sanko Estate worked diligently with landlords, brokers, attorneys and the Apple Real Estate team to ensure all areas of the transaction were handled properly and in a timely manner. Sanko Estate managed all language translations during face-to-face meetings and worked efficiently and effectively between meetings to provide necessary information for Apple to make positive, results-oriented decisions.

We recently opened our very first International Apple Retail Store on a tremendous retail corner in Ginza. 5,000 people lined up to get into the store on opening day! And the renegotiation of our Apple Japan Headquarters lease has significantly decreased our overall corporate facilities expense. This allows us to redirect these savings to other revenue and profit generating initiatives for the company.
